Terms of Use

These Terms of Use explain the rules for using DentBridge. The platform is designed to support academic clinical coordination between patients, dental students, faculty members, and authorized personnel within a dental faculty setting.

DentBridge is not an independent dental clinic, is not an emergency service, and does not replace the clinical judgment of a dentist, faculty member, or qualified healthcare institution.

1

Purpose of the Platform

DentBridge is an academic clinical coordination platform. Its purpose is to support the organization of patient requests, initial case suitability review, triage by authorized personnel, student case requests, and tracking of clinical workflow stages under faculty supervision.

The platform supports the educational and clinical process, but it does not replace faculty procedures, faculty decisions, or the professional responsibility of qualified personnel.

2

3

Emergency Situations

DentBridge must not be used for medical or dental emergencies.

In cases of severe pain, significant swelling, bleeding, difficulty breathing, trauma, spreading infection, or any other urgent condition, users should immediately contact emergency services, a hospital, an emergency dental clinic, or a qualified healthcare professional.

Submitting a request through DentBridge does not guarantee an immediate response.

4

Limits of Information and Advice on the Platform

The information available through DentBridge is intended only for coordination, education, explanation, and support within an academic clinical workflow.

The platform does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment planning, personal medical advice, or clinical decision-making. Any decision regarding examination, treatment acceptance, treatment type, or follow-up care must be made by qualified personnel under faculty supervision.

5

Patient Requests and Treatment Acceptance

Submitting a treatment request through DentBridge does not guarantee that the case will be accepted for treatment, assigned to a student, or considered suitable for an academic clinical setting.

Each request may be reviewed by authorized personnel. Some cases may be rejected, remain pending, or be referred to another medical or dental provider if they are not suitable for supervised student care.

If a case is considered suitable for the educational setting, limited case information may be made available to senior dental students for clinical coordination. Any treatment, if provided, must take place under the supervision of qualified faculty members and according to faculty procedures.

6

Responsibility of Patients or Users Submitting a Request

Users are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information when submitting a request through DentBridge, including contact details, description of the concern, relevant medical information, and files or images if uploaded.

Providing incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information may affect the ability to review the request properly, delay the review process, or result in the request being considered unsuitable for the academic clinical setting.

Users should not submit information about another person without appropriate authorization, and should not upload files, images, or details that are not relevant to the review of the request.

7

Account Access and Authorized Users

Access to the platform is provided only to authorized users according to their role and responsibilities, such as students, faculty members, and designated authorized administrative personnel.

Each user may access only the information required for the approved academic clinical workflow. User accounts are personal and non-transferable.

Users must not share login credentials, passwords, access links, or information from the platform with any unauthorized person.

Sharing an account, attempting to access information not intended for the user, or transferring personal or clinical information to an unauthorized party may harm the privacy of patients and users, violate these Terms of Use, and lead to access restrictions, institutional measures, or legal consequences in accordance with applicable law and data security principles under KVKK.

8

Privacy and Use of Information

DentBridge processes personal information and information related to patient requests for academic clinical coordination, suitability review, faculty supervision, and clinical workflow management.

Personal information is handled according to the Privacy Policy and the KVKK / Personal Data Protection clarification page. Users are encouraged to review these documents to understand what information is collected, why it is collected, who may access it, and how correction or deletion requests may be submitted.

9

These tools must not be used as the sole basis for clinical decision-making. Students must follow faculty guidance, institutional protocols, instructor instructions, and qualified professional clinical judgment.

10
